I wanted to share my thoughts on the tragic case of David Bryan Herrera, who lost his life in such a tragic incident last year. As someone who's been following this, I think a lot about the impact this must have on David's family and friends who are still dealing with their loss every day. I can’t help but think about the importance of the witnesses and surveillance video that helped identify Walker. It's a powerful reminder of how invaluable eyewitnesses and community tips can be during these investigations. It's hard to imagine how things might have played out without those crucial pieces of evidence. I wish there were more ways communities could come together to enhance safety and support each other. These situations are often so unexpected, and it's terrifying to think about how quickly things escalated in David's case. I hope that more folks are inspired to assist law enforcement when they can, whether by speaking up or sharing footage, to help bring justice to families like David's. Sending love and strength to everyone affected by his loss.
