I was recently reading about Andre Henderson's case and felt compelled to share some thoughts. It’s devastating to think about the impact on his family and friends, who’ve had to deal with this unspeakable loss for over seven years now without justice. I wanted to bring attention to the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood, which has sadly been the site of many violent crimes. It's frustrating that areas like these often don’t get the resources or attention needed to solve cases like Andre's. I wonder if further community engagement or technological aids like better surveillance could have made a difference or could help now. My heart goes out to anyone who knew Andre; living with unanswered questions must be incredibly tough. Does anyone know if there’s been any recent focus or initiatives in that neighborhood to address these ongoing issues?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the community aspect surrounding Andre Henderson's case. It's devastating to hear about yet another shooting in St. Louis, especially in neighborhoods like Wells-Goodfellow that seem to bear the brunt of these tragedies. Barrett Brothers Park, where Andre was found, is a place that should be buzzing with families enjoying their day, not overshadowed by violence.
What strikes me is the sheer lack of progress over the years. It's baffling that there hasn't been any significant movement publicly. I can't begin to imagine what his family and friends are going through, having no closure or justice for so long. It's chilling to think that whoever is responsible has not been held accountable.
If anyone from the area has any ideas or knowledge of the atmosphere around the neighborhood around that time, I'm interested in hearing how it might have changed since then. Perhaps locals are holding critical bits of the puzzle that could help nudge this case closer to resolution.
Thoughts and prayers are nice, but I feel we need tangible progress. Here's hoping that one day soon, Andre’s loved ones find the answers they deserve.
Stay safe, everyone.
