I’ve been following the case of Patricia Blanco, and something that really bothers me is the role that alcohol played in this incident. I can't help but think about the dangers of handling firearms while under the influence – it’s a recipe for disaster. Not only did Patricia’s loved ones lose a cherished mother, friend, and community member, but now their trust has been shaken by someone who was supposed to care for her. If anything, this case underscores the urgent need for responsible gun ownership and the dire consequences of mixing alcohol with firearms. It’s devastating to see a life cut short because of someone’s reckless decisions. I hope that the upcoming trial can bring some clarity and, more importantly, justice for Patricia’s family. They deserve honest answers and some sense of peace knowing the person responsible is held accountable. Keeping her family in my thoughts as they continue to navigate this difficult journey. ?
