I can't stop thinking about how this young father was just doing something so ordinary—picking up food for his family. It’s terrifying to think that a routine night could turn so tragic in an instant.
The fact that there were surveillance cameras capturing the entire ordeal, yet the suspects remain unidentified, is so frustrating. I hope that someone out there will recognize the suspects from the footage and come forward. There's a 2-year-old girl who will never get to know her dad because of this senseless violence, and that injustice feels immeasurable.
