I’ve been following the case of Hakan Karacay for a while now, and the detail about his car being found so far from Clifton really puzzles me. It makes you wonder how it ended up all the way out near Lewis, New York, especially since that area doesn't seem to have any direct connection to him. The fact that the battery was dead and the gas tank was empty suggests to me that it might have been driven a long way before it stopped. But why would Hakan, or anyone else, go out there in the first place? It feels like such a deliberate choice. I also keep thinking about the two packs of cigarettes—they're such a personal item, it's almost like he left them there for a reason. Is it possible there’s more to the story about what Hakan was dealing with, or maybe someone else was involved? I hope someday we have clearer answers about where Hakan might be.
