I came across a detail that hasn't been discussed much, and it's been on my mind lately. Someone mentioned how Steven Presley and Domonic Davis were close friends and both just 17 years old. It just breaks my heart thinking about how they must have leaned on each other during those terrifying moments. I've read that they were both high school students with dreams ahead of them, like most teenagers. Losing them so senselessly is a reminder of how fragile life can be. Their families have shown incredible strength throughout, and I can't imagine the pain they’ve endured. I know the legal proceedings are concluded, but I hope Steven's family, and the families of the other victims, find some peace over time. It’s stories like these that really put things into perspective. Always hoping for positive change to prevent tragedies like this in the future.

Does anyone else find it incredibly tragic how this all boiled down to a drug deal gone horribly wrong? I can't stop thinking about how Steven and his friends were all just teenagers, with Domonic being the same age and Jonathan even younger. It's hard to comprehend that their lives were cut so short over something so senseless. I keep reading about the emotional toll this has taken on their families, and it's just gut-wrenching. Seeing how devastated Steven's uncle Derek was during the trial really hit home for me. I can't imagine the pain they are all going through. It's infuriating that Bennett could make such devastating choices, but I hope that this case stands as a grim reminder that we need to keep working on ways to prevent youth from being drawn into such dangerous situations in the first place. Thoughts are definitely with the families.
