I've been thinking a lot about the role of community support in cases like Ricardo's. It's just so hard to grasp how anyone could cause such harm to someone so young and full of potential. I'm from the Memphis area, and I remember the wave of sadness and anger that swept through when the news broke. It's comforting, though, to see how the community rallied together for Ricardo and his family, offering support and pushing for justice. Even though those responsible were brought to justice, I'm left wondering how we, as a community, can do more to protect our kids and prevent something like this from happening again. How do we create safer environments and ensure that those who might be suffering in silence have a way to reach out? I hope we can learn from this tragedy to make a tangible difference moving forward. Sending love to Ricardo's family and all who were touched by his life.
