Has anyone looked into the possibility of Daniel Dutton trying to start over somewhere new? The fact that his checking account was overdrawn and credit cards maxed out makes me wonder if he was feeling overwhelmed and wanted to escape his current situation. Renting a room on that receipt from the EconoLodge could mean he needed time to think things through. I’m curious if there were any reported sightings of him in the days following his disappearance or in other nearby towns. Could he have been attempting a fresh start under the radar? I know it’s a stretch, but sometimes people in dire situations might feel like disappearing is their only option. Would love to hear thoughts from anyone familiar with the case or similar situations.
