It's a reminder of the ripple effects of such violence, impacting not just the direct victims but everyone around them. My thoughts are with Lakeyel’s family and friends, and I hope they find some comfort in knowing that justice was served, even though nothing can bring her back. Also, immense respect to the law enforcement teams who worked tirelessly to capture Davis. It's important that stories like these remain in our minds and serve to emphasize the urgency in combating domestic violence.
