I was thinking about the #MountainView area in Anchorage, and it seems like it would be such a tough place to gather more info about someone like Brommels, especially after all these years. I've read that she had a criminal record for substance-related offenses, which might have made it harder for people to come forward or even realize she was missing. I wonder if anyone has checked into whether she had any close friends or known associates who might have more insight. It feels like even small details could give the authorities a lead. If you know something, Anchorage Police could really use the help.
I was going through some unsolved cases from Alaska and came across the disappearance of Brommels from Anchorage back in 2002. Something that caught my attention is the timing of her last sighting. April can still be quite cold in Anchorage, especially at night. I wonder if anyone remembers seeing her with weather-appropriate clothing, or maybe if she was seen near any shelters? It might've been significant given the weather conditions. Just trying to piece together who might have seen her last, as it's been so long and the details are truly scarce. If anyone remembers anything, even the smallest detail could help…
It's been 21 years since Brommels disappeared from Mountain View, Anchorage, and I can't stop wondering about any possible connections to her past. Her criminal record seems centered around substance issues dating back to '85, which makes me wonder if anyone she associated with back then could shed some light on her disappearance. Anchorage's community was likely smaller and more interconnected then, meaning someone must know something. Anybody have thoughts on potential leads or similar cases from that era that might provide clues?
