It's been over six years now since Devin Wilson's tragic death, and yet it feels like just yesterday that this senseless act of violence took place. What really breaks my spirit is thinking about his family, especially his young kids, who have been left to grow up without their father. I can't even imagine the strength it takes for them to face each day knowing justice still hasn't been served.
Devin was a hero in every sense – a veteran who wasn't afraid to step up and protect someone in danger. He deserved so much better. It makes me wonder about the state of the investigation. With today's technology and the number of people who were present that night, how has there been nothing new? Surely someone out there knows something. It's so frustrating to see cases like this seemingly stall, and my heart goes out to Devin's mother, Katina, and his family. They deserve answers, not just for them but for Devin's memory and his children.
