Has anyone else been thinking about the role of bystanders in Amy Williams' case? It's just so chilling to think that one minute she was out on the sidewalk with her sister, probably having an ordinary conversation, and then everything changed in an instant. It's such a shocking and senseless loss. I can't imagine what Amy's sister and the witnesses must be carrying with them after witnessing such a traumatic event. We often don't think about the ripple effects these tragedies have on the people who were there, whether they knew the victim personally or not. It's important to come together as a community during times like these and offer support not only to the family but to those who were unexpectedly drawn into this harrowing event. My heart goes out to everyone who is still trying to make sense of it all.
