Has anyone else been following the community's reaction to KaVion Hopkins' case? I'm just struck by how many people seem to have come together to support his family during such an unimaginable time. It's really moving to see the neighborhood hold vigils and rallies, not just to mourn but also to demand justice for him. I heard they even set up a fund to help with the family's expenses, which is such a kind gesture. It’s so important for family and friends to see they’re not alone in this. I hope they find some comfort in the outpouring of love and support, even as they navigate through the legal proceedings. Has anyone here attended any of the gatherings or heard updates from the community events?

Has anyone else been following the pre-trial hearings in the KaVion Hopkins case? I can't even imagine how tough this must be for his family, sitting through all those proceedings and having to relive everything. It seems like the defense is trying to paint Brakefield and Young in a different light, but the evidence feels pretty clear-cut to me. Just thinking about KaVion's family having to endure this is so sad. Hoping for a fair process that truly honors KaVion’s life. Anyone have thoughts on how long these cases typically take before going to trial?
