I've been following the case of Courtney Anthony, and one detail that really sticks with me is the role of the AR-15. It's shocking and terrifying to think about such a powerful weapon being used in a residential area, especially where children are present. It's hard enough for families to rebuild after losing someone to violence, but when you add in the element of these high-powered firearms, it feels like a whole new level of tragedy for the community. I can only imagine the fear that neighbors must have felt knowing this kind of weapon was involved. It's crucial for us to keep talking about these issues, not just in terms of gun laws, but in how we can better support families and communities to prevent things like this from happening again. My heart truly goes out to Courtney's loved ones.
