Does anyone have more information on the link between this case and other incidents that year in Kansas City? I’ve been looking at stats and there was a noticeable spike in violence around that time. It’s hard to understand why the violence increased so suddenly and tragically. Cortez Hanley’s murder, along with the two others killed, is such a devastating loss. I can’t help but wonder if there were any common threads or people involved that might connect this to the broader pattern of violence in the area. I hope for the sake of their families that justice is served soon. If anyone has any insights or theories, I’d love to hear them. Let’s keep shedding light on these tragedies to hopefully prevent more from happening.
