Does anyone else find it unsettling how quickly the trial seemed to move once it got going? It's like they had all these legal motions and back-and-forths, but then suddenly, there was a conviction? I can't help but wonder about the kind of pressure the community, media, and even the families might have felt during this time. My heart goes out to Thomas’s family. The weight they carried during all these proceedings must have been unimaginable, and now they’re left with memories and the fight to make their community a safer place. How many more teens need to be hurt or lost before real solutions are put in place?
