I've been following Paul Jason Shuart's case, and something keeps bothering me about that day at the bus station. The fact that he was with his mother, who noticed his confusion and tried to get help right away, suggests to me that his condition was suddenly worse than usual. I wonder if anyone in the area at that time noticed a man fitting his description acting unusually or if the bus station had any CCTV footage back then. It's frustrating that there are still no leads on what could've happened after he walked towards I-84. It's been way too long without any updates. Does anyone have more insight or thoughts on what else might possibly be done in cases like this, where someone just seems to vanish into thin air?
I’ve been following Paul Jason Shuart’s case for a while now, and something that’s been on my mind is the lack of credible eyewitness accounts. Baker City isn’t the largest place, and you’d assume someone might recall encountering him or spotting him somewhere along Interstate 84. Especially considering his distinctive appearance and the fact he might have been disoriented. Has anyone been in touch with folks who regularly travel that route, like truckers or local commuters, who might’ve seen something that was overlooked back then? It's baffling to me how quickly someone can seemingly vanish. Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone from the area recalls some details from back then that never got reported or made public.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Paul Jason Shuart's case for a while and something caught my attention. I've been wondering about the red birthmark he had on the back of his neck. Considering his size and distinctive features, I can't help but think that someone must have noticed him during his time at the Greyhound station or even on the road. That birthmark seems like it would really stand out to anyone who got a close look—especially if he did manage to catch a ride.
I know it's been years, but has anyone ever heard of witnesses recalling his birthmark, either back in 2007 or even more recently? Maybe someone remembered later, thinking it was an odd detail. It just seems like something that could have easily been passed along to authorities if noticed.
Also, do we know if local hospitals or clinics were contacted recently or if there've been any similar descriptions? I feel like focusing on his unique features could really spark a breakthrough. Thoughts?
Hoping for a resolution soon. Paul's family deserves answers.
