I can't stop thinking about the 911 calls that were mishandled in the tragic case of Barbara Dixon Rogers and the other victims. It really makes you wonder how differently things might have turned out if the response had been more timely. I feel deeply for Barbara's family, especially Dr. Chase Trotter, who has shown an incredible amount of grace and strength during this difficult time. The understanding and forgiveness he's offered really speaks to his character and how deeply his mother's spirit of kindness must have impacted him. This case is a somber reminder of the critical importance of effective and reliable emergency services. May Barbara, Mildred, and Juliana rest in peace, and may their families find strength in the wake of such an unthinkable tragedy.
