Has anyone else been following the case of Kordell Bass and Kortez Waller? I keep thinking about the impact their deaths must have had on the South Side High School community. Kordell graduated there in 2016, and I can't help but wonder how his friends and former teachers are coping with such a loss. He seemed to be a young man full of life, with a love for sports and music. It's just so hard to grasp how this violence can rip through a community, leaving so many people trying to make sense of it all. If anyone knows how the school's supporting their students during this time, it would be comforting to hear. I hope we eventually get some answers and justice for Kordell and Kortez.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Kordell's love for sports, especially the Steelers and the Lakers. It's such a unique bond he shared with people who knew him. Imagine how excited he would get watching games and discussing plays. It's moments like these that show how passionate he was about life and everything he did. It's so painful to realize that something as peaceful as watching a game is overshadowed by such a tragic loss. Kordell’s enthusiasm for sports brought light into his circle, and I’m sure those memories continue to resonate with his friends and family. We often say sports bring people together, and I hope those who knew him can find some solace in remembering the good times, whether it’s laughing over a memorable game or arguing about whose team played better. If anyone has more memories to share about Kordell's sports passions or anything else, I think it might help us all feel a little more connected in the search for justice. Always thinking of Kordell and Kortez's loved ones during this really tough time. Take care, everyone.
