I keep thinking about the 911 call Decker made right after he shot Kristi. It just makes me wonder what he was feeling in those moments. Was there any trace of remorse or fear in his voice? The fact that he claimed it was an accident initially might suggest some level of panic or denial. It's truly chilling to consider the chaotic scene described when officers arrived—Kristi in the kitchen, Adam in the dining room. I feel such deep sorrow for Kristi’s family and friends, knowing this could have been the culmination of escalating violence. I hope they find some form of justice and peace, though I know that's a tall order after losing someone in such a manner. The whole case really underscores how desperately we need more resources and awareness to help prevent domestic violence before it reaches such a devastating conclusion.
