Has anyone else been following the testimony from the investigators in the Ashley Marie Hurt case? I've been thinking a lot about how the Knoxville Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit handled the crime scene. Given the complexity of dealing with a double homicide, I have to say, it sounds like they did a thorough job of gathering evidence and piecing together what happened. I can't imagine the pressure to get everything right to ensure no detail was overlooked. It's reassuring, at least, to know they are committed to getting answers for Ashley’s and Randolph’s families. Still, it must be such an overwhelming and painful time for them. Keeping them all in my thoughts. ?
