Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the initial response from law enforcement and how critical those first moments can be in situations like these. It seems like the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department and the Smithville Police Department were on the scene pretty quickly after things went down between Jeffery Rigsby and Ronald Carter. I wonder if this rapid response helped preserve any crucial evidence that could shed light on exactly what happened on Carter Drive that night. The fact that they immediately involved the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation makes me believe that they're taking every possible measure to ensure a thorough investigation. My heart goes out to Jeffery's family and friends as they desperately seek answers. Does anyone have insights on how such immediate involvement from multiple agencies might impact the investigation’s outcome?
Has anyone else noticed the unusual dynamics surrounding the altercation between Jeffery Rigsby and Ronald Carter? I've been following this case closely, and it strikes me as strange that the situation escalated to an exchange of gunfire. From what I've gathered, they were known to each other, which makes me wonder if there's more beneath the surface than a random confrontation.
I can’t imagine what Jeffery’s family is going through right now, having lost someone so young and full of life. It’s essential to understand what led to this tragic outcome, not just for closure but to ensure justice is truly served. There’s got to be more to the relationship between these two. Did anyone else hear about any previous interactions or disputes between them? Sending my thoughts to the Rigsby family during this difficult time.

I have screenshots of the guy saying he would shoot Jeffery if he showed up. It had something to do with his “wife” at the time. Her bf after him passed away as well. (death unknown ) There are so many questions that went unanswered. His wife was also really fast to have him cremated. Because he was married his wife done everything and kept everything away from the family.

I have been following this case. Looks like they updated it but still no resolution. Little bit more info. That is good. Maybe it will spark someone to say something. Have you shown these screenshots to law enforcement? If so, did they take it seriously? I am so frustrated for you.

I've been tracking the unfolding details surrounding Jeffery William Rigsby's tragic death, and something that's been on my mind is the involvement of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI). It's a bit unsettling when a case takes this long to resolve. From what I've gathered, the TBI is typically brought in for more complex situations—so it makes you wonder what complications they might be facing in this investigation.
Given the lack of arrests and the passage of time, I'm curious about what new evidence or testimonies could eventually surface. It must be incredibly frustrating for Rigsby’s family, not having closure. My heart goes out to them during this difficult time. Does anyone here have experience or insights into TBI investigations and why they might still be working on this case? It's hard not to hope for some answers soon—for everyone's sake involved.
