Has anyone else looked into the crime rates around Kemp Drive around the time of Dequan's murder? I came across some old articles and it seems like that area had a bit of a reputation for being a hotspot for violence. It just makes me wonder if the environment played a part in this awful crime. It’s so sad to think that Dequan lost his life in a place that might have already been seen as dangerous. Understanding the area might help us make sense of what happened, but it still feels like the police need more to go on. Dequan’s family deserves answers, and it’s frustrating to see this case stuck in limbo. If you live around there or know anyone who does, maybe keep talking and listening. Someone out there knows something, and even the smallest detail could help bring some kind of peace to his family.

I've been following the case of Dequan "QueePee" Scott for a while now, and something that's been really troubling me is how little information is available about any potential suspects or even a motive. It seems like Dequan was well-loved in his community, a hardworking young man who graduated from Brainerd High and had a steady job at Gestamp. It's tough to think about why someone would target him, and yet here we are, more than three years later, with no answers.
I read that he was shot on Kemp Drive and later made it to the hospital, but sadly didn't survive his injuries. It's so frustrating to know we don't have any leads on who might have done this. I feel deeply for his family and friends who must be aching for some form of closure or justice.
If there's anyone who might have heard or seen something that night, or even if you noticed something unusual leading up to it, please consider reaching out to the authorities. It could be something small, but crucial. We owe it to Dequan and his loved ones to help find some answers.
