Does anyone else find it strange that Jeffrey Wayne Nelson left his eyeglasses behind in his truck? If he was planning to go on the run, wouldn't those be one of the essentials he'd need? If he's like most people with glasses, he'd struggle to see properly without them. It makes me wonder if leaving them was intentional or if he was in too much of a hurry to even think about it. Maybe he thought he'd be back for them soon? The whole thing just feels off, and I can't help but think that leaving the glasses is a significant but overlooked piece of this puzzle. Anyone have thoughts on how this could play into what happened that day?

I've been following Jeffrey Wayne Nelson's case, and something's been bugging me about the location where he went missing. If he fled from the police on foot and left his truck at the shipyard, wouldn't there be camera footage or witnesses who might have seen where he went? Shipyards are usually bustling with activity, even with employees or security personnel around. I wonder if anyone who worked there or nearby that day saw something worth noting but didn't realize its significance. It seems strange that he could vanish without a trace in an area like that. Do any locals have thoughts on how accessible the shipyard area is or was back then?

Has anyone else been curious about the shipyard where Jeffrey Nelson's truck was found? It's been bugging me. Why leave the truck there of all places? Shipyards are usually bustling with activity and people coming and going. Seems like a risky spot if someone wants to disappear without being seen. Plus, Nelson's eyeglasses and cellphone were left behind, which to me suggests he didn't plan on staying away long. I wonder if his familiarity with the area might have played a role or if someone somehow coaxed him away under the guise of helping him. Would love to hear your thoughts or any local insights about the shipyard and its surroundings back in 2009.
