Wow, this case just keeps weighing on my mind. The part that really gets me is how young Cholly was and the bright future he had ahead of him. It's so sad whenever I think about how his young son will grow up without his dad. It's tough to make sense of why stuff like this happens to good people. I have to believe that the truth about what led to this will come out eventually. I'm really hoping the investigation gets to the bottom of it all soon, and the family finds the justice they deserve. Does anyone have more info on whether there have been any developments in the case? Also, if anyone reading this knows the family, please send them love from the other side of the screen. ?

I’ve been following the case of Cholly Demarcus Lamont Harris Jr., and something that really stands out to me is how the community is rallying together to support his family and demand justice. Even though it's been over two years since that terrible day on Hazen Street, the impact Cholly had on those around him is so evident in how people talk about him—kind, helpful, and always putting others first. I read about the homegoing celebration his family organized, and it seems like it was a beautiful tribute. Despite the sorrow, they managed to create a moment of unity and remembrance for their beloved Cholly. Gatherings like this not only honor the victim but also keep the pressure on law enforcement and the DA's office to pursue justice. It must be unbelievably difficult for his family and friends to move forward with so much still unresolved, especially for his young son. If anyone has any more updates or knows how we can continue to support the family, please share. It’s crucial that we keep talking about this so Cholly’s story isn’t forgotten and hopefully one day see some resolution. Thinking of Cholly's family and sending them strength.
