I've been thinking a lot about the timeline of Toni Monette's murder, and something just doesn't sit right with me. She was found so soon after she was attacked, yet it seems like there were no witnesses or anyone who heard anything suspicious? I mean, 4:30 a.m. is such an odd time because it can be eerily quiet, but you’d think there might be someone passing by or maybe a delivery driver or nearby resident who remembers seeing or hearing something out of the ordinary. Also, with the store being open 24 hours, could anyone who stopped by earlier and saw Toni have information they didn’t realize was relevant at the time? It's so frustrating to think that absolutely no new leads have come from the surveillance of the area. My heart goes out to Toni's family and friends, who must be hoping that someday someone out there remembers something that might be the key to unlocking this mystery. It’s been over forty years—someone knows something.

Hey everyone, I've been following Toni Monette's case and something that constantly baffles me is the absence of an apparent motive. It just doesn't sit right that someone would commit such a horrific act without taking any money or valuables, especially in a convenience store setting where cash is usually readily accessible. Does anyone else find this strange? It's almost as if the killer had some sort of personal vendetta against her, but nothing in the reports suggests what that could have been. I'm really hoping that with the advances in DNA technology, there might be some overlooked evidence that can help crack this case. My heart goes out to Toni’s family; it must be a constant source of pain to have no answers after all these years. I can only imagine how desperately they want justice for her. If anyone has any more information or theories, I'd love to hear them. Keeping Toni in my thoughts today. ?
