Has anyone come across more details about Detective Ellery Bertram Purnsley? I think his involvement in the Chester mass shooting adds another layer of tragedy to this case. Being a detective, he might have been responding to the situation and got caught in the chaos, which is truly devastating. It makes you wonder what specific circumstances led to him being one of the victims. Unfortunately, the lack of available information from that time makes it hard to piece together the full story. If anyone has access to old local newspapers or police records, it might shed some light on what happened that day and how this could have been prevented. My heart goes out to his family and the families of all the victims.
