In the early morning hours of a Sunday in May 2012, tragedy struck on the 900 block of South Conestoga Street in the Kingsessing neighborhood of Philadelphia. It was there that 22-year-old Ikeam Elliott was found with multiple gunshot wounds at 4:52 a.m.
Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene, but despite their efforts, Elliott was pronounced dead at 5:07 a.m.
At the time of the initial investigation, police had not determined a motive for the shooting that ended the young man's life. Ikeam Elliott resided on the 2200 block of Diamond Street in North Philadelphia, a considerable distance from where his life was ultimately taken. Information regarding any suspects or arrests in connection with his death was not made available in the immediate aftermath of the incident.
