Has anyone else looked into the impact Officer Ernest Wilson Davis Jr.'s death had on his local community back in 1980? I was reading about his case and couldn't help but think about the ripple effects tragedies like this have. He seemed to be a well-loved officer, having served both in the Air Force and with the Philadelphia PD. From what I've gathered, residents on North Broad Street must have been deeply affected by what happened. It's important to remember that when we lose someone in service, it's not just the family who suffers but the entire community. If anyone knows more about how the neighborhood reacted or came together after his passing, I'd love to hear it. Respect to his family who endured such a huge loss.
