Wow, thinking about the coffee break shared by John Coligan and his colleague Ralph Tomaro right before the tragic event is incredibly moving. These were two men likely trying to take a breather from their stressful day, completely unaware of what was about to unfold. It's awful to think about how fleeting life can be. I can't imagine the shock and grief their families and coworkers must have felt in the aftermath. Both men, like the others who lost their lives that day, were just trying to do their jobs. It's a stark reminder of how important it is to create safe workplaces and address any underlying tensions before they escalate into violence. I sincerely hope that such industries have learned from this tragedy and have taken steps to prevent similar situations from happening in the future. Thinking of John's family and friends and hoping they have found some peace throughout the years.
