I can't help but feel for Justin's mother, who witnessed such a traumatic event. It's unimaginable the pain she must be going through, losing both her son and husband in such a violent manner. I wonder if there were any warning signs leading up to that night. Did anyone in their circle notice changes in Justin's behavior, or maybe see tensions building between him and Douglas? It's so hard for families to intervene in situations like this, especially when alcohol is involved. My heart goes out to her and the entire community grappling with this loss. If anyone knows of resources or support groups for family members of murder-suicide victims, it could be really helpful to share them for anyone silently suffering.
