I've been following the Richard Duncan case, and I keep thinking about what could have driven Leroy Clark to such a horrific action. It seems so bewildering that a dispute over something like the Toys for Tots allegations could escalate to such lengths. I can't help but wonder what kind of mental and emotional state Clark must have been in leading up to the tragic events on December 23. I also think about how this all unfolded right before Christmas, which must have compounded the grief for Duncan’s family and friends. It's devastating to lose someone so cherished and community-oriented during what is supposed to be a joyful time of year. Sending love and strength to all who knew Richard; it sounds like he touched many lives and left a lasting impact.
