Has anyone looked into the possibility that Qi might have traveled to a nearby city on a whim that day? I've been reading about other cases where grad students took spontaneous trips to clear their heads. It's possible she could have gotten on another bus or train. I know Pittsburgh isn't super far from places like Cleveland or even Erie. Maybe a dive into transportation records beyond the usual city limits could offer some lead? Also, given the language barrier, could there have been any local groups or communities she might have connected with outside campus that haven't been fully explored? I wonder if reaching out to any cultural organizations might bring up something new. Thoughts?
