Did anyone else see the interview with Zion's classmates? It was really touching to hear how they described him. They mentioned how he was always encouraging others and had a smile that could brighten anyone’s day. It’s just so senseless that a life with so much promise was cut short. I can’t imagine how his family is coping with this. His teammates are also struggling; I read that they’re planning some kind of memorial at their next game. It’s just another reminder of how devastating gun violence is in this community. I hope they catch whoever’s responsible soon. Does anyone know if the police have made any progress with those persons of interest?
