I've been thinking a lot about how random and unfair life can be, especially after reading about what happened to Yaleah and Tiyaniah. It's haunting to imagine how a simple visit or outing turns into a nightmare just because they were at the wrong place at the wrong time. I can't help but feel for their families, who have to carry this unimaginable burden. It's frustrating that innocent lives can be wiped out just like that, highlighting how crucial it is for communities to work together to combat these kinds of senseless acts of violence. The silver lining, if there is one, might be that the arrests could bring some semblance of justice, but it doesn’t bring back the girls. This case truly underscores how important it is to create safer environments for everyone, especially our youth.
