I recently came across the case of Tammy Lynn McKarchey Dorward, and it’s just so sad to think about the loss experienced by her family and friends. What struck me the most was how Tammy was not only a loving mother and grandmother but also a dedicated nurse at Brookline Manor. Nurses have such a tough job, and it seems she gave so much of herself to her patients and workplace. It's often the caregivers who aren’t taken care of themselves.
I’m curious if anyone knows more about the work environment at Brookline Manor or how her colleagues have been coping. I think it’s important to acknowledge the ripple effect such a tragic event can have, not just on the immediate family but on all those who were part of Tammy’s life. Those relationships at work can be like a second family, and I can't imagine how her coworkers are handling the aftermath.
It's incredibly sad to think about what Tammy's family must be going through, especially given how close the holidays were when this tragedy occurred. I recently came across some friends and co-workers of Tammy discussing how dedicated she was as a nurse at Brookline Manor. It seems she really had a caring nature and was deeply committed to her patients, which adds another layer of heartbreak for those who knew her through her work. It's heartwarming, though, to see people coming together to remember her kindness, even in such difficult times. To everyone who knew and loved Tammy, my thoughts are with you as you navigate this unimaginable loss.
