I've been reading about Najir's case, and it's truly gut-wrenching to think about how his life was cut short. I came across a detail I hadn't seen discussed much: the bond he had with his grandmother. It's unbelievably cruel how she passed just days after Najir, possibly from the immense grief. It makes me wonder how such emotional connections are often overlooked in these tragic stories. Stories like theirs remind us of the ripple effects a single act of violence can have on an entire family. My heart goes out to Najir’s loved ones, especially his mother, Jeannine. I can only hope that the community steps up to bring them some semblance of justice and that someone finds the courage to speak up with any information they might have. Let's keep their fight for answers alive.
