I’ve been thinking a lot about the role social media played in the tragic events involving Kelly Kearn. Julian’s goodbye message on Facebook was such a public cry for help and it’s devastating that things escalated to this point. It’s so important for us to think about how we can recognize these signs earlier and intervene safely. I can’t imagine the pain Kelly’s loved ones are going through, having to face not just the loss but how publicly it all unfolded. My heart goes out to everyone affected. Does anyone know if there’s been talk about any support initiatives or groups forming in the Harrisburg area for those impacted by domestic violence or similar situations?
