I can't stop thinking about the community impact following Javon Cooper's tragic death. As someone from Philly, it's deeply concerning to see how these incidents send shockwaves through our neighborhoods. It was the middle of the day, on a street that I'm sure many residents walk daily, thinking they'll be safe. It’s a sobering reminder of the unpredictability of life right now. I really feel for Javon’s family and the community around him who have to navigate through this trauma. It’s hard not to ask, what more can be done? How do we better safeguard our communities so people like Javon can pursue their dreams without fear? This really hits home.
