Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Shakiyah Burston from Philly? It's beyond comprehension how someone so young and full of life can have their future stolen like that. I've been thinking a lot about how these incidents continue to affect our neighborhoods. The fact that this happened in such a busy area around Fairmount Avenue suggests there might be witnesses who haven't come forward yet. I can't imagine the pain her family and friends are going through, not having any answers or closure. If anyone out there knows anything, no matter how small it may seem, please consider reaching out to the Philadelphia Police Department. Bringing those responsible to justice could at least provide some solace to those who loved her.
