This shooting has left a permanent mark on the neighborhood, reinforcing the urgent need for discussions about both conflict resolution and gun control. We have to keep Jose’s memory alive by striving toward a future where such violence doesn’t have to be a daily worry. My thoughts are with everyone in Allentown dealing with this aftermath.
