Has anyone else been following the details about the gun found during the traffic stop months after Darin's tragic death? It makes me wonder about how thorough the investigation was initially. It's really distressing that such a critical piece of evidence took so long to surface. My heart goes out to Darin's family, as dealing with the loss of a loved one is hard enough without the added burden of wondering if justice was fully served. It seems like there were a lot of moving parts and maybe some missed opportunities in the investigation. How do people feel about the sentences that Deontae Nalls and Daeshuan Eric Smith received? Given the complexities of the case, I can't imagine how challenging it must have been for everyone involved, especially Darin’s loved ones, to watch this unfold.
