I've been thinking a lot about the impact that Hasson's murder has had on the students and faculty at Sto-Rox High School. It's unimaginable what they must be going through right now. School is supposed to be a safe place, and to have something so tragic happen to one of their own must be incredibly difficult to process. I heard they moved to virtual learning for a while—it seems like a wise decision to give everyone some time and space to grieve and find support. It makes you think about the importance of community coming together in times of loss. I really hope the counseling services provided are helping the students and staff. My heart goes out to all of them. ?
