I’ve been following Erika Ramos King's case, and my heart goes out to her daughter and entire family. I can't quite imagine the trauma her daughter must be going through after witnessing such horror. I read that the 911 call she made was a big part of the trial, and I just keep thinking about the incredible bravery it must have taken for her to reach out for help in that moment. I hope the community might come together to support any counseling or emotional needs she might have going forward. It's so important for us to recognize the signs of domestic abuse and work towards preventing tragedies like this from happening in the future. Anyone else think our community needs more resources or awareness programs to tackle domestic violence? Curious about what others in Harrisburg feel can be done.
