I came across this case while scrolling through my feed, and it's so distressing to see another beautiful soul lost too soon, especially in such a violent manner. I don't know how many times we need to keep saying it, but hearing about Miia's passing adds another layer of urgency to address the systemic issues affecting the trans community. Something that really got to me was hearing about the vigil her friends and family organized to honor her life. It sounds like she touched so many lives and brought joy everywhere she went. Imagine having that light suddenly and cruelly taken away. I can't stop thinking about her loved ones and how they must be feeling right now. I hope they find some peace in knowing the community's hearts are with them, and I really hope the authorities catch Dwight soon so that Miia and her family can start to find some form of justice. We need to keep pushing for change and raising awareness. If you have any info that might help, please don't hesitate to come forward. Every little bit counts in bringing closure and justice to Miia and her loved ones.
