Hey everyone, I've been diving into the Patricia Lynn Taylor case recently, and something caught my attention. I read that the group home where she lived was operated by Oklahoma's DHS. I'm curious about the conditions and oversight of these group homes back then. Does anyone have more information about the environment or potential issues with these kinds of facilities in the early '80s? It's concerning that her file was closed once she turned 18, but I suppose that might have been standard procedure. Still, it feels like there could be more beneath the surface here. Maybe someone with experience or knowledge about the system at that time can shed some light?
