Has anyone looked into the lawsuit Hollis Dykes filed before he went missing? I can’t help but wonder if there might be more to it than meets the eye. Filing a lawsuit against the county sheriff and a deputy must've been tense, especially if it got heated. I wonder if there’s any connection between that incident and his disappearance. Legal issues can sometimes lead to dangerous situations, and maybe this could pinpoint why there was no trace of him after 1983. Does anyone have more details on the outcome of that lawsuit or if it connects to any other significant events in his life?

Does anyone else find it curious how Hollis Dykes just vanished without a trace right after all those legal issues? Considering the time frame and his lawsuit against the sheriff and deputy, it makes me wonder if there might have been some tension or pressure leading up to his disappearance. I read that on the last day he was seen, he was cited for a minor vehicle issue. It's odd that such a seemingly routine thing was the last recorded interaction he had. Do you think there is more to it, or was it just bad timing? It feels like there might be more behind his disappearance that's connected to these events. Curious if anyone knows more about his life in California or any potential connections he made there that might have followed him back to Oklahoma.
