Hi everyone,
I've been pondering over Dale Barbee's tragic case. It's so distressing to think about how a young life was cut short and that his family has been waiting for answers all these years. Something that struck me was the location where he was found – the wooded area off Maple and Craig. I wonder if it was a place he frequented or if it was purely by chance that the perpetrator chose that spot.
Did anyone from Urbancrest back in the '80s have any insights into this area? Was it known for being somewhat secluded or risky back then? Sometimes these small details can shed light on the mindset of those involved. I hope more people who might recall anything come forward. His family deserves to finally have some answers after all this time.
Sending strength to all who knew and loved Dale.
I've been diving into some old case files lately, and I can't stop thinking about Dale P. Barbee's untimely death. It's been over forty years, and yet there's still no justice for Dale or closure for his family. What strikes me the most is how his meeting with a business client was such an everyday event, something so normal, and then it turned into something so tragic.
I can't imagine the pain his family has endured all these years, especially with no answers or suspects in sight. Urbancrest must be a different place now, but does anyone know if there are any new developments or perhaps people in the area who might have heard something back then? Sometimes, even the smallest detail can come out and change everything. Hoping that someone, somewhere holds the piece of information that finally brings justice for Dale.
If anyone has thoughts on how we can bring more attention to cold cases like Dale's, please share. His story deserves to be told, and his family deserves answers.
I can't stop thinking about Dale P. Barbee's case and how his family must feel after all these years without answers. One detail that's been on my mind is the location where his body was found—Maple Street and Craig Street in Urbancrest. It's such a small area, and you'd think someone might have seen or heard something. It makes me wonder about the possibility of someone in the neighborhood having crucial information but might be too afraid or hesitant to come forward.
Urbancrest isn't a huge place, and residents probably knew who came and went. I keep hoping that as time passes, maybe someone will remember something or feel safe enough to share what they know. It must be incredibly frustrating for Dale's family not knowing what really happened, and I can't imagine having to live with that uncertainty for over 40 years. I sincerely hope that renewed appeals from law enforcement and ongoing community efforts will eventually lead to justice for Dale and peace for his loved ones. If anyone has even the slightest recollection from that time, it's worth reaching out to authorities.
