Dale P. Barbee, a 22-year-old white male, was tragically murdered on August 5, 1980, in Urbancrest, Ohio. His body was discovered at approximately 3:25 PM in a wooded area off Maple Street and Craig Street. Barbee had been strangled and shot, and he was last seen alive the previous day when he left his home to meet a business client. Investigators believe that robbery may have been a motive, although the exact events leading up to his death remain unclear.
