I recently stumbled across Curtis E. Dove’s case again while doing some research, and I can't shake the feeling that someone out there knows more than they’re letting on. It’s chilling to think this happened in his own home, a place where he should have felt safe. It’s been over 30 years, and yet there seems to be little progress. I feel deeply for his family and friends, who must be tormented by the lack of answers.
The fact that Curtis had been shot in a domestic incident just the year before is particularly unsettling. Could this have been related, or is it a tragic coincidence? I wonder, did the police look into any possible connections between these two events back then? Maybe someone with insight into his relationships around that time could shed some light.
If anyone remembers anything or has heard something, even if it seems insignificant, reaching out to the authorities could make all the difference. Curtis deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.

It was just after 1:20 AM, and I've often wondered what the noises or events were that prompted Dove’s neighbor to investigate. It must’ve been unsettling and traumatic for them to stumble upon such a scene. I feel for the neighbor and what they must have gone through that night. These late-night hours can be a vivid reminder that while some of us are peacefully asleep, others are facing unimaginable horrors. I truly hope that anyone who has ever heard or seen something—no matter how small or seemingly insignificant—steps forward. The pain of Curtis's family, living without answers for decades, weighs heavily on my mind. Justice delayed is incredibly tough, and I want to extend thoughts and compassion to all those who loved him and continue to seek closure.
